Samsung 32M4000 Review
Design and Look
Like 32J4003 Samsung 32M4000 has decent build quality. It is almost entirely made of plastic. There are no obvious areas of concern in its construction. The TV stood strong on a pair of a stand, well balanced but still, safety is recommended.
The bezels surrounding the display are quite thin and impressive. This Samsung 32 inch TV gives you access to great entertainment in the comfort of your living room.

Viewing Angle | 178° |
Thickness
This TV is very thin, and doesn’t stick out much if wall-mounted.
Back
The Samsung 32M4000 back is plain, and has a slightly different texture than the other 2017 TVs we’ve tested. There is only basic cable management through a clip on the back legs.
Stand
Samsung 32M4000 feet are set at either end of the TV, and don’t prevent it from wobbling.
Footprint of the 32″ stand: 25.5″ x 6.1″
Borders
The borders of Samsung UA32N4000ARLXL are relatively thick exactly like 32J4003 , given the small size of the TV, so they’re a bit more noticeable.
Picture Levels
Samsung 32M4000 has an excellent contrast ratio. This results in deep blacks, which is especially noticeable in a dark room. But Samsung 32M4000 doesn’t have a local dimming feature.
The TV has very good gray uniformity. The sides of the screen are noticeably darker, but there is little dirty screen effect in the center, which is great for sports fans. Like most VA TVs, the image degrades when viewed at an angle. Due to the small size of the TV, this effect is more noticeable.
The Samsung 32M4000 has decent black uniformity, results in cloudy blacks in dark scenes, which can be distracting. Overall, the Samsung 32 inch TV has good reflection handling. Bright reflections aren’t diffused much across the screen, so they might still be distracting in a bright room.

Response
The motion handling of the Samsung 32M4000 is decent. It has a fast response time, so there is only a very short blur trail behind fast-moving objects.
But it may appear irrelevant for someone for this, not a big deal though. It supports motion interpolation up to 50 Hz and has a Black Frame Insertion feature to make the image crisper, but it does not work very well.

Variable Refresh Rate: No
Sound Quality
The sound quality is great with 10 watts Dolby Digital Decoder speakers to deliver powerful sound with enhanced bass performance on Samsung 32M4000, making your listening experience as immersive as viewing.
Enjoy a cinematic experience at home with the Bollywood mode feature. For a better sound, dedicated speakers or soundbars are recommended.

Conclusion
Mixed Usage
Overall, the Samsung 32M4000 is a good TV for most uses. It’s good for watching sports or TV shows in a bright room, as long as you don’t like to move around.
Movies
This is an adequate TV for watching movies in a dark room. It has an excellent contrast ratio, so blacks appear black in a dark room, but it has only decent black uniformity and lacks a local dimming feature, so some clouding can be seen in dark scenes. Unfortunately, it can’t remove judder from any source.
TV Shows
The Samsung 32M4000 is a good TV for watching TV shows during the day. It has good reflection handling and decent peak brightness, so glare shouldn’t be an issue in most rooms, but the image degrades at an angle, so it isn’t great if you like to move around with the TV on.
Sports
The Samsung 32M4000 is a good TV for watching sports during the day. It has good reflection handling and decent peak brightness in SDR, so glare shouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately, the image degrades when viewed at an angle, it isn’t a great TV for watching the big game with a group of friends.
Video Games
This is a good TV for playing video games. It has outstanding low input lag, resulting in a very responsive gaming experience, and it has a great response time. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support any advanced gaming features like FreeSync, and some motion artifacts can be seen, due to the backlight flicker.
HDR Movies
The Samsung 32M4000 is a decent TV for watching movies in HDR in a dark room. It has an excellent contrast ratio, resulting in deep blacks, but it has only decent black uniformity, and lacks a local dimming feature. It can display a wide color gamut, which is important for the latest HDR movies, but it can’t get very bright, so small, bright highlights don’t stand out.
PC Monitor
This is a great TV for use as a PC monitor. It has outstanding low latency and it supports most of the common resolutions, and can display chroma 4:4:4 properly in all of them, which is important for clear text. Unfortunately, the image degrades when viewed at an angle.
