MI TV 4A Pro 43 Inch Review And Specification: Considering the features on offer, the Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4A Pro is a good buy for those looking to buy a 50-inch smart TV.
When it debuted, it disrupted our idea of the Indian television market. At its price, it was an obvious choice considering the features it offered.
The range included the Mi TV 4C, Mi TV 4A and Mi TV 4. Now each has a Pro suffixed to its name in the refreshed lineup. MI led TV 4A Pro has a decent picture and audio quality, perfect for the viewers who desire to experience typical television. The addition being Android OS, and a voice search button on the remote.
It also offers the option to switch between an Android TV UI or the default PatchWall with a dedicated button on the remote. This is my review of the TV after using it for several months.
The picture performance at 1080p is great too. The downside is the poor HDR performance, which is kind of the main USP of this TV. However, if you still want to go 4K, you may need to increase your budget.
For Rs. 30,000 you are getting a pretty good FHD smart TV proposition with the Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4A Pro.
MI TV 4A Pro 43 Inch Review And Specification
|TV Type||Smart TV|
|Screen Size||43 Inch|
|Screen Resolution||1920 x 1080|
|Motion Rate||60 Hz|
MI TV 4A Pro 43 Inch Review And Specification: The MI led TV 4A PRO is really good in a dimly lit room. Its blacks are deep for an LED. For an LED TV, its screen uniformity is good. Even with the lights on or in view of windows, the 4A PRO is pretty good, with very few reflections.
Almost no reflections are visible (except for indirect light, of course) when displaying a brighter scene. The only downside of the 4A PRO LED TV is its narrow viewing angle.
As soon as you are off the axis, discoloration appears. If you need a 4K experience, you will be better off with the Mi LED TV 4X 50 inches.
The motion handling of the MI led TV 4A PRO is decent. It has a fast response time, so there is only a very short blur trail behind fast-moving objects. But it may appear irrelevant for someone for this, not a big deal though. It supports motion interpolation up to 60Hz and has a Black Frame Insertion feature to make the image crisper, but it does not work very well.
Native Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
Variable Refresh Rate: No
The sound on the MI led TV 4A PRO is decent, it can get decently loud but may not be loud enough for large or noisy environments. It doesn’t have deep bass, but it will deliver clear and intelligible dialog. For a better sound, dedicated speakers or soundbars are recommended.
|Sound Mode||Standard, Music, Cinema, Game, Sports|
|Audio Power Output||20 W|
|Dolby audio format support||Dolby® Digital|
The input lag is average, but most people will not notice it. In terms of connectivity, the MI led TV 4A PRO comes with only two USB ports. This allows you to connect more than one external USB device to the TV. There are three HDMI ports, including one HDMI ARC port. You can choose to connect a soundbar or a laptop through HDMI ports. Additionally, there is a LAN port, digital audio out and component ports. Like any other Smart TVs, even the 4A PRO supports screen mirroring and DLNA.
Smart OS: PatchWall based on Android TV
This TV is powered by a 64-bit Quad-core processor, ensuring all apps and the Android OS to run smoothly. The major highlight of this TV is DTS-HD audio, Surround sound speakers. The channel delivers 20 watts of sound output. MI TV has very smartly placed the speakers on the TV and this should help fill your home with music.
When it comes to entertainment, there are several pre-installed apps such as Hotstar, Voot, Sony LIV, Hungama, Zee5, Eros Now, Alt Balaji, Sun NXT, Hooq, TVF, Epic ON, Flickstree| Prime Video coming soon and more to keep you entertained for hours. With the built-in set-top box (CAM module) feature, you can continue watching direct satellite content on this TV. This is a small device mounted in a CI slot at the back of the TV, which eliminates the need for an actual set-top box and messy wires around the TV.

MI TV 4A Pro 43 Inch Review And Specification: It has a fluid, functional, and well laid out UI that brings you the benefits of both stock Android TV and PatchWall.
The MI led TV 4A PRO has very good picture quality both in dark and bright rooms. Its pricing is so aggressive that it feels you’re actually just buying a panel. I’d go ahead and say that it makes for an excellent buy.
However, if you still want to go 4K, you may need to increase your budget. For Rs. 30,000 you are getting a pretty good FHD smart TV proposition with the Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4A Pro.
