What Is The Overall Performance Score Of The HP Laserjet Pro M29W?
The HP Laserjet Pro M29W laser printer provides good monochrome document printouts. We tested by printing different types of fonts with different thicknesses and they are fully clear even in the magnified view. You don’t have to worry about its document and graphics printing quality it is excellent but it is not good at all for printing photos and in this price range you shouldn’t expect that also.
The printing speed of HP M29W is good 19 pages per minute. When we tested by printing three different sets which include text, only graphics, and mixed the average speed result is nearly 18.2 PPM which is good for the purpose of a small home office or shop.
The only thing we found is that the page yield of the HP M29W laser printer is very low compared to other laser printers 1000 pages but it is acceptable as it is a budget-range laser printer if you are looking for a laser printer with a good monthly page yield capacity then check HP Color LaserJet Pro M283FDW ($549.00 at Amazon).

The HP Laserjet Pro M29W color laser printer is great for home use. The printer is compact so you don’t require much space to place it in your home. However, it will be great if your printing demands majorly move around document printing but if it includes color photo printing also then HP M29W is not enough you have to buy an inkjet printer also.
For a small office, it is good but not the best one whereas if you are looking for a low price budget range laser printer with basic functionality then it is for you. The printer doesn’t have features required in most offices to speed up the workflow like duplex printing, and ADF whereas you will not get in any laser printer in this price range. The printer has a low page yield of only 1000 pages so it is another deal-breaking point. For office use, we recommend higher-end laser printer models like Canon Imageclass MF644CDW and Canon Color Imageclass LBP622CDW.
