Printing from a mobile phone wirelessly is not a tough task. It can be easily done with the help of a stable wireless connection and a mobile app.

However, many people find it difficult when they want to print for the first time.

Many new users prefer to print from their mobile phones rather than printing from their PC or laptop.

To start with wireless printing with your mobile phone, you have to remember that the steps may vary depending on the android version you are currently using.

However, the concept is pretty much the same for all devices and versions of OS.

However, if you want the best customisation settings, you can download the manufacturer’s original app.

Step 6: Make sure that the printer is connected to the same WiFi network as your mobile phone. Also, you can connect the printer using an ethernet cable.

Print Using Default Print Service

What About Google Cloud Print?

As Google Cloud Print is decommissioned from its service from December 2020 as it is no any more necessary.

Google developed it especially for Chromebooks users as they don’t have any native printing support.

But now modern printers come with all sorts of advanced and important features so there is no use in having Google Cloud Print.

The cloud service has served over 10 years and is no longer available from 1 January 2021.

Google Cloud Print is a great option to print any file or document from any corner of the world.

Additionally, the Google Cloud Print was capable of working as a fax machine for you, as your colleague or friend can send commands to your printer from a remote place or office.

But that’s not the end. Google has provided some alternative printing partners like Directprint.io, LRS, NT-ware, PaperCut, Pharos, PrinterLogic, and more.

Print Using Universal Mobile Printer App

Most of the printers support universal mobile printing apps such as the PrinterShare Mobile Print app. That we find more reliable than other apps.

Such apps can come in handy when your printer app is not working properly, after receiving an unstable update, or multiple other reasons.

  1. Go to Google Play Store and look for the “PrinterShare Mobile Print” app.
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Make sure your Phone and Printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  4. Open the app and select the category of the file you would like to print.
  5. Choose the best configurations and click on the Print option.
  6. Now, you can connect your printer with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and more. Here we will choose the Wi-Fi option.
  7. The app will start scanning the printer connected to your Wi-Fi.
  8. Finally, select the printer, and start printing.

So, in this way you can successfully print from your phone to a wired or wireless printer. If you have a Tab you can follow the same procedure as described above.
