If you are looking at Canon Pixma TS9520 for family use then definitely it is the best choice. We found that family printing requirements are mainly focused on printing photos and a few documents and that the Canon TS9520 printer can deliver excellently.

As the printer is affordable and the cost per print is low so it is a good choice otherwise you can go for HP Officejet Pro 8035e or Brother Inkvestment MFC-J995DW. 

Whereas we also recommend the printer for office use but for only offices with low to mid-range printing requirements. As the Canon Pixma TS9520 printer cartridge yield is not so good.

But as the printer printing quality is excellent so it can be a great choice for kids and college students for printing projects and proposals. 

Except that the printer provides a decent printing speed not very good but okay for general use. You will get a wide range of connectivity options for better connectivity.
