The Brother Inkvestment MFC-J995DW multifunction printer is great for black-and-white document printing. We tested it by printing different types of text in different thicknesses they are absolutely crisp and clear. For printing graphics and photos it is decent and very much similar to HP Officejet 8035e. Printed colors are rich, vibrant, and absolute but didn’t have the levels which we expect from an inkjet printer like Epson Ecotank ET-4760.
Whereas overall quality is not so disappointing only the Brother MFC-J775DW inkjet printer is not suitable for professional photo printing. Another flaw that we found is a bit of banding at the corners from black to dark green.
The printing speed of the Brother MFC-J995DW printer is good. It prints 12 monochrome pages per minute 4 pages slower than the Epson Ecotank ET-4760, 8 pages slower than the HP Officejet 8035e, and 3 pages slower than the Canon Pixma TS9520. Whereas it prints 10 color pages per minute 3 pages faster than the Epson Ecotank ET-4760. In conclusion, we can say it is perfect for moderate office use.
The Brother MFC-J995DW printer has a good page yield of 3000 pages but as per our testing black page yield is more than 3000 pages and the color page yield is less than 2000 pages. This is good and that is much you can expect but it is half of the Epson Ecotank ET-4760 printer page yield.
