Black Widow official Poster exposed at Disney’s D23 Expo With New Characters
The official Black Widow poster was exposed at Disney’s D23 Expo last week. The poster shows Natasha Romanoff with additional Black Widow agents, especially Melina (Rachel Weisz) and Yelena (Florence Pugh). Also with Red Guardian (David Harbour) only the exception of his beard. In addition to that MCU’s new super Villain Taskmaster is also in that poster.
Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development & Concept Artist Andy Park posted the official Black Widow poster to Twitter on Sunday. The same poster was revealed over the weekend at D23 alongside posters for upcoming Disney+ Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision.
The poster also confirms that in the movie except for Natasha, Yelena, and Melina additional Black Widows would appear. It was confirmed by Weisz at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 during an interview with IGN that additional Black Widows would appear in the movie.
Whereas Marvel Studios revealed there Phase 4 plans but still very secretive about them because the projects won’t be released until midway through 2020. In the poster, we can see that Taskmaster is emerging above Natasha’s head. It’s unclear which actor is playing Taskmaster and will surely be a huge part of the film’s story. And everyone is not so lucky as the fans those who have at San Diego Comic-Con and Disney’s D23 Expo got the short glimpses of exclusive footage, the rest of us haven’t been as fortunate. Until now.
Black Widow movie is scheduled to release on May 1, 2020, and a kick-off starts for MCU Phase 4. After the sacrifice of Natasha in Avengers: Endgame to retrieve Soul Stone at Vormir during Time Heist. Black Widow fans get shocked and thought that it was the end of their favorite character.
But Marvel President Kevin Feige has some secretive surprise for Marvel’s fans. Feige said in a playful way that the flashback film could open up a whole new world of possibilities that fans didn’t realize was possible when they watched Natasha sacrifice herself in Avengers: Endgame.

Maybe in Avengers: Endgame Natasha’s part of the story is designed to begin the solo movie of super-secret agent Black Widow and getting Natasha’s dark, unknown past to light. Her fans eagerly awaited 10 long years after Iron Man 2 to know originally who is Natasha Romanoff and what is Red Room and what is Black Widow project? Now nearly after 10 months, we all will know who is she.
The director of the film is Cate Shortland one of a growing number of female directors hired for Phase 4 films and Marvel/Disney+ projects in addition to Chloe Zhao for Eternals and Kate Herron for Loki.
So, the movie will surely a breaking point of MCU history and the beginning of new Marvel Saga with lots of new comic characters as well as villains are line up to introduce to the world. And the old characters who played there a role in the shade of mystery will be revealed.
