Build and Design

The Laptop has three USB ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm jack phone. You also get an SD card reader in the notebook, though there is no USB Type-C port.

There is no ethernet port either, but Wi-Fi 6 provides a fast and secure wireless connection. I / O is one of the most potent parts of the IdeaPad Slim 3i, though we would love to see a USB Type-C port here.

The IdeaPad Slim 3i Games is a 14-inch Full HD (1080p) TN panel with 250 light numbers. Viewing angles on display are not very good, and the lack of an IPS panel is quite noticeable.

Plus, the colors aren’t precisely represented on this screen, but they’re good enough for the price.

Performance

We often have doubts that recommending laptops with Core i3 CPUs, although performance on the Slim 3i was not enough.

Doing many things between MS Office and Chrome apps was smooth, whether the Laptop was connected or battery-operated. If you use this Laptop to perform basic production tasks, you will not have a problem with failure.

Considering its specs, you shouldn’t play on this machine. That being said, other standard games or mobile games running on a PC will work just fine. And when we say familiarity, we mean ‘strange’.

In the Cinebench R20 single-core test, the IdeaPad Slim 3i managed to score points while scoring points in a multi-source test.

Also, this is a work laptop, and it does an excellent job as a work laptop. Overall, this Laptop’s performance was outstanding, but we would strongly recommend choosing a model with at least 8GB of RAM.

Battery life

Lenovo claims that the IdeaPad Slim 3i can deliver up to 7.5 hours of battery life, or that number may exaggerate many companies.

In real-world use, that number will be closer to a five-hour mark than a 7.5-hour mark. We got a little less than four hours while doing a lot of work and about five hours when we looked at the content. Battery life was a bit stressful, but it was still affordable.

Audio and Webcam

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i has two 1.5-bit lower speakers with Dolby Audio. While we would love to use headphones or external speakers, the sound quality here is excellent, or with sound from songs and movies or podcasts that are pretty audible.

The addition of a hand-held web camera cover is another great thing, even though the video quality is low.
