Whereas the big screen TVs are very good for those who like to watch TVs by sitting far or desire to have excellent big size TVs for watching movies or their favourite shows.
So, now coming back to the point, a 65 inch led tv is basically smart and 4k (HDR support). But yes the model price is also high because of the large size. Whereas in online stores these are available at a good discount.

It’s a great 4K LED TV with very good viewing angles, outstanding low input lag. The TV can’t get bright enough and can overcome the glare of any room.
The best LG TV we’ve tested so far is the LG UM7290PTD. The TV is nearly a winner in every aspect like it presents amazing picture quality, perfect blacks, and low input lag for gaming.
It supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision and provides an excellent HDR viewing experience thanks to its wide color gamut and infinite contrast ratio. With the newest version of WebOS, the TV provides a smart system that is fast and easy to use.
LG uses a bright IPS display panel. The IPS panels are popular for delivering fine detail realistic picture quality with various color combinations. They are also famous for their great viewing angle no matter if you are standing or sitting you will get a perfect color picture from all angles.
We find the sound quality is really good as the company describes due to DTS Virtual X you will get crystal clear surround sound.

Samsung UA65TUE60AKXXL
Core Specs:
- Smart: Tizen
- Panel: VA
- Ports: 3 HDMI, 2 USB
- Resolution: 4k 3840×2160
- Display: A+Grade panel
- Sound Output: 20 w
- Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
- Bluetooth: Yes
The Samsung UA65TUE60AKXXL is a decent entry-level 4k 65 inch led tv. It has moderate picture quality with an excellent contrast ratio which presents blacks deeper in the darkroom.
As it is a UHD 4K TV it supports nearly all HDR formats. It can’t get very bright and doesn’t have a wide color gamut, so it can’t deliver good HDR performance.
Whereas motion handling is okay, it is good for gamers because it has low input lag and good response time. Samsung has not had many popular models in 65 inches compared to 50 inches and 55 inch TVs.
The Samsung TV uses a VA panel and also it doesn’t have the viewing angle technology so you have to compromise a little with the output quality if you watch the TV from different angles. Whereas VA panels are popular because of stable performance and high contrast ratio for deeper blacks.
The TV provides a game mode so that you can break your gaming experience limit. But what we notice is that it works fine up to 60Hz with 4k games and it also does not allow 1440p content. So, if you want to play you have to play at 60fps to avoid any problems.
We find the Samsung TV very good for watching HDR content and good enough to play games. The TV has a response time of 9 milliseconds which is good. You don’t have to wait much after executing a command. Overall it is a good choice without any major issues.
Good
- Black uniformity is good.
- Low input lag.
Bad
- HDR capabilities are limited.
- The picture degrades at an angle.

- Resolution: 4k 3840×2160
- Display: X1 | 4K HDR | 4K X-Reality Pro
- Sound Output: 20 w
- Refresh Rate: 50 Hz
- Bluetooth: Yes
This 65 inch LED TV from Sony falls in the category of the high price but also performance is really great. But it is not so costly compared to other Sony 65 inch TVs.
Sony Bravia X8000H is available in multiple sizes from 43 inch to 65 inch. Based on the Android OS this TV has access to some really cool smart features. As well as Triluminos display and 4K X Reality Pro brings the lifelike picture to your eyes.
It’s a decent 4k IPS panel TV with wide viewing angles and good peak brightness. Whereas Clear Audio+ delivers Immersive and Clearer Sound for a lifelike experience.
The TV delivers an excellent viewing angle so if you have many family members and are planning to watch your favourite cricket match or an HDR movie all together it is a good choice.
But on the downside, we have noticed a mediocre contrast ratio so it may sometimes occur that black appears grey.
On the other side, the TV comes with excellent low input lag and a quick response time of 10 milliseconds which is very good for video games. The TV doesn’t have a permanent burn-in risk and is very idle to use as a computer monitor.
We find the Sony Bravia 65 inch 4K UHD TV is very good for viewing sports and playing games as it has a good response time so the motion will be very clear.
While for watching movies and TV soaps the TV also performs well as it delivers flawless picture and sound quality. It is capable enough to handle reflection if you place it in an average bright room.
Good
- Good viewing angle.
- Good motion handling.
Bad
- In the dark room black looks greyish.
- Not good for most gamers.
TCL 65C715 – QLED
Core Specs:
- Smart: Android
- Panel: VA
- Ports: 3 HDMI, 2 USB
- Resolution: 4k 3840×2160
- Display: A+ Grade Panel
- Sound Output: 20 w
- Refresh Rate: 50 Hz
- Bluetooth: Yes
We have examined 4 TCL 65 inch led TVs this year and this one is the best so far. TCL 65C715 is Ultra HD 4K led tv which supports the HDR10 format.
It uses a VA panel that delivers an impressive picture quality suitable for nearly every type of content. With HDR10 the TCL TV produces an outstanding detailed image with accurate light and dark shades.
The VA panel has an excellent contrast ratio and a full-array local dimming feature which is great for dark room viewing whereas it is also great for well-lit rooms as the TV can get bright enough to combat the glare and handle the reflection.
The only downside that we notice is with the viewing angles like all VA panels TCL also has limitations in wide viewing.
The sound quality passes through the Dolby Atmos so you can expect clear voice quality; there is no mixing or breakage in the voice output. But it can’t get too loud so we recommend an external sound system.
The good thing is that TCL AI voice interaction will allow you to access your favourite programs by simply speaking into the microphone on the remote control.
Gaming wise it may be disappointing for some gamers as the TV lacks a 2.1 HDMI port so it is limited to 60Hz at 4K.
Otherwise, the TV has a low input lag and impressive response time of 6.5 milliseconds. The TV runs on the Android platform so you will get many features and apps to play.
We like the TCL 65 inch 4K UHD TV due to its outstanding picture and sound quality. The TV displays deep blacks due to its exceptional contrast ratio, great for watching movies and serials. And also it will be a great PC monitor and will serve an excellent desktop experience due to its fast response time.
Good
- Overall image quality is excellent.
- Deep, uniform blacks.
Bad
- Some dirty screen effect.

VU is an excellent 65 inch 4K UHD TV and one of our best big-screen giants in the affordable price range under 70K. This TV is truly awesome in its performance and the best that you can get in this price range.
The TV holds the VA panel but unlike other VA panels, VU 65LX is capable of performing on wide viewing angles due to the enhanced viewing angle feature.
It has an outstanding contrast ratio of 1000000:1 and a great local dimming feature, making VU an excellent choice for watching movies and sports.
The display section has some excellent packages of features like Pixelium Glass Technology, motion smoothing, Gamma Calibration, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG, and Active Contrast which together delivers a fabulous viewing experience.
We like the sound quality very much. It has a crystal clear, deep, and surround sound due to the Cinema-Grade 6-JBL speakers. The DTS Virtual X Surround feature has indeed boosted the television to provide theatre-like sound effects.
Whereas for gaming the TV has installed a gaming mode feature but our testing resulted in average gaming performance.
The TV is placed with a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, powerful GPU, and has a good response time of 8 milliseconds which ensures a smooth gameplay up to 60Hz at 4K.

Sanyo XT-65UHD4S Cheapest 65″ 4K UHD TV
Core Specs:
- Smart: Android
- Panel: VA
- Ports: 3 HDMI, 2 USB
- Resolution: 4k 3840×2160
- Display: Micro-Dimming Technology
- Sound Output: 20 w
- Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
- Bluetooth: Yes
Sanyo Kaizen Series is our other best cheap affordable 4K UHD television under the price range of 65K. You can expect smooth performance and excellent quality. Whereas the TV runs on the Android platform so you will get a decent amount of applications to scroll down.
The TV runs on the VA panel with a great contrast ratio to present deeper blacks and the full-array local dimming feature is also good.
You will be pleased to know that the TV supports HDR10 and Dolby Audio. However, you can use this TV in a room where there is enough lighting. Its reflection handling capability will deliver you a clear and bright picture.
Unfortunately, we don’t like the TV viewing angle. It is not so much but still viewing from an angle creates inaccurate images. So, don’t recommend this Sanyo XT-65UHD4S for a family that have a good amount of family members.
The TV Dolby supports 20 Watts speakers and the Digital Sound Processing feature provides deep and clear output. But you should know that modern LED TVs don’t deliver high sound so if you have a large room then we recommend a Home Theatre System for a better experience.
On the gaming side, you will get a similar experience to other 4K UHD televisions. It will work best at 60Hz with 4k games and if you desire to have smooth gameplay then you should play at 60fps.
Overall, the Sanyo XT-65UHD4S TV is very good for watching movies and serials as it presents bright pictures with deep blacks. And another thing is that it is really an affordable TV you will never get a nice performing branded TV with a price tag.
Good
- Reflection handling is excellent.
- Fast response time of 10 milliseconds.
- Black uniformity is very good.
Bad
- The viewing angle is poor.

Which One is Good For You?
The above-selected models are all best but remember all 65 inch 4K UHD televisions are available online or offline are above the 60k price range, yes you might get few options below that price range but they are not good to go and also they do not come from decent and reputed companies.
If you want a big screen giant under an affordable budget that is 70,000 INR then VU 65LX and Sanyo XT-65UHD4S are the best options as they have decent port options, good sound and picture quality.
But their performance is not up to the level of Sony, Samsung, or LG, we find they have slow response time and fewer features compared to the top brands TVs.
Whereas it is the best you can get within this price range and also it is not clever to compare them to the TVs that are priced nearly 100K there always be a difference. Overall they don’t have any performance or quality issues.
However, there is one option which is under the good price range we can say. LG 65UM7290PTD TV if anyone can afford 70K TV then he can go for it only he has to spend a few more thousands and for that, he will get a good number of ports, excellent output quality, and a great response time.
We like the LG TV for two reasons: first, the TV has successfully passed all our testing parameters and second the TV is actually priced over 100K but Amazon is selling it with a discount of 42%.
And rest of the other TVs by Sony, Samsung, and TCL (QLED) are the top rankers we find no issues with them. The only thing is that if you can afford it you should take them as the first option.
Here we conclude our article Best 65 inch 4K UHD TV That Your Money Can Buy. We have provided all the necessary information you need to know.
