The movie is based on real-life occurrence ‘ Batla House Encounter ‘ officially known as ‘ Operation Batla House ‘ took place on 19 September 2008, against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists in Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi. In which Encounter specialist and Delhi Police inspector Mohan Chand Sharma was martyred during the incident. The incident took place a week after five serial blasts on 13 September 2008 that hit Delhi in which at least 30 people were killed and over 100 injured.

John Abraham is a successful model, fitness icon and actor who appears in Hindi films. He made his debut with the 2003 Bollywood film Jism and received appreciation for his performance. His major critical success Water and the 2008 comedy Dostana established him as one of the strongest male actors in Bollywood. Abraham also turned producer in the year 2012 and founded his own production company called John Abraham Entertainment. Maintaining variety in his choice of roles, he won the IIFA and the Filmmfare for his portrayal of a villain.

Mrunal Thakur is a model and actress who primarily appears in Marathi cinema. She has also appeared on popular TV soaps and reality shows. She made her Bollywood debut with the 2018 film Love Sonia.

Nora Fatehi is a Canadian dancer, model, actress and singer who has mainly appeared in Hindi films. She has also starred in Malayalam and Telugu films. She comes from a Moroccan Canadian family, and was born and raised in Canada. Fatehi began her career by appearing in a Bollywood film Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans. After that she was signed for an item number in Puri Jagannath's Telugu film Temper, marking her debut in Telugu. She has also done a special appearance with Emraan Hashmi and Gurmeet Chaudhary in the film Mr. X directed by Vikram Bhatt and produced by Mahesh Bhatt.Later Fatehi appeared in item numbers for movies such as Baahubali: The Beginning and Kick 2.
